The NITRO+ B850A WiFi 7 is Sapphire's enthusiast AM5 motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset for Ryzen 9000, 8000 and 7000 series processors. It pairs a 12+2+1 phase power design rated at 55A per phase with heavy VRM, M.2 and chipset cooling, so high-core-count Ryzen chips stay stable under sustained load.
A PCIe 5.0 x16 slot feeds the latest graphics cards, while a PCIe 5.0 M.2 socket and two PCIe 4.0 M.2 sockets handle fast NVMe storage. Four DDR5 DIMM slots support up to 256GB of dual-channel memory at speeds up to 8000 MHz (OC). Wired networking uses 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, backed by onboard WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.
Debug LEDs and a one-click BIOS Flash button make troubleshooting and updates simple, and the clean silver and black NITRO+ styling suits a showcase ATX build.
