The AsiaHorse Hydrus 8-pin CPU cable is a 30cm ARGB extension for the EPS12V rail that feeds your processor. It plugs onto your existing PSU lead, so you keep the original cable and simply add lighting and a cleaner look to the busy top-left corner of most builds. The 4+4 head splits to fit a single 8-pin or a 4-pin CPU socket, an easy match for nearly any motherboard.
Low-resistance 18AWG copper and tin-plated brass contacts deliver clean, stable EPS12V power to the socket, not just good looks. The 5V ARGB lighting is fully addressable and joins the same sync ecosystem as the rest of your rig, driven from your board or an ARGB hub.
The angled 90-degree plug tucks into that crowded corner with full terminal contact and no bending. A matte diamond-weave finish hides fingerprints and scuffs, and the pliable PVC takes 40,000+ bends. Plug-and-play in Black or White, backed by a 1 year official warranty.
Just received my AsiaHorse Hydrus 16-Pin (12V-2x6 / 12VHPWR) cable from OJTech.pk for my ASUS ROG Astral RTX 5080. Build quality is excellent, the connector fits perfectly, and it gives the build a much cleaner look than the stock adapter. I also tested it at around 400W GPU load, and as shown in the attached screenshot, the current is nicely balanced across all six power pins.
